Ltd. has succeeded in expanding the product line-up of the Metal Film Chip Resistor (High Reliability Type) by newly developing the high-power types and the high-precision types, which are suitable for automotive electronic applications used under the hard environmental conditions.

    Recently, metal film chip resistors with high-precision as well as high-reliability have been required in the automotive electronic applications, which are used under the harder environmental conditions compared with electronic equipment for general-use. To meet the market demand, although Panasonic Electronic Devices Co., Ltd. has been mass-producing metal film chip resistors (high-reliability type), we have newly developed the high-power type which features higher power than conventional metal film chip resistors. And also, we have commercialized the high-precision type used in the circuits required for more precise control, which features smaller resistance tolerance and lower TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance) than conventional metal film chip resistors, and will commence full-scale mass-production.

    High-precision type (ERA6AR series/ERA6AP series)

     Featuring small resistance tolerance and low TCR

    • Resistance tolerance: ±0.05 % (1 kΩ to 100 kΩ) our current models (*1)
